Six Week Introductory Training in Mindfulness Mindful Radiance

Time: 6-8pm PST on Zoom

Enrollment includes a weekly yoga class (Vinyasa flow, gentle, yin or pilates) of your choice through Yoga @ Cindy’s

The Conscious Kid is an education, research, and policy organization dedicated to equity and promoting healthy racial identity development in youth.

Lead with Soul Force is a local youth leadership development program focusing on love, resistance and non-violence.



This 6 week introductory training in mindfulness course is an opportunity to learn the foundations of mindfulness in a safe, fun, nurturing environment ALL online in the comfort of your home. In each session we will explore the teachings together through guided meditation, mindfulness talks, gentle movements, open dialogue and discussion. The invitation is to learn practical ways to integrate mindfulness into all areas of your life and begin to see benefits in communication, relationships, work and daily activities. Compassion will be the common thread throughout the course as we learn to meet each moment with more presence, kindness, curiosity and acceptance. The teachings will be offered in a secular, light hearted approach as we explore the nature of human experience together. Regardless of experience or background you are welcome in this class. I am so excited to embark on this mindful journey together.



6 Week Overview


Each week we will explore how mindfulness can help with key areas of your life to develop greater focus, cultivate an embodied attention, work with strong reactive emotions, navigate thoughts and obstacles in meditation, but most of ALL how to hold every experience with kindness and care.


4/5- Week 1: Overview of Mindfulness

4/12- Week 2: Mindfulness of body

4/19- Week3 : Mindfulness of feeling tone and common obstacles

4-26- Week 4: Mindfulness of thought

5/3- Week 5: Mindfulness of emotion

5/10- Week 6: Loving kindness and taking the practice home


Have to miss a week? No problem, all sessions will be recorded to view at your own time. Weekly optional supportive readings to deepen practice will also be provided.
